I have had many people ask me in the past about how to do I cope with the feeling of nausea that accompanies drinking tea. My suggestion is to drink tea slowly and don’t drink too much at one time. Tea also has a variety of benefits so you may want to try it.
Some people who drink tea have a lot of gastric discomfort or an upset stomach after drinking it. Others don’t experience any negative feelings and these differences may be due to how the tea is prepared and/or your own tolerance for it.
Nausea might also associated with tea that is too hot. A warm beverage might make you feel better, but if the temperature is too high, this can add to your discomfort and nausea.
